My name is Lis (short for Elisabeth) and I started my business to provide bookkeeping, accounting, and consulting services for small businesses and solopreneurs.  I teach business owners how to manage their finances themselves if they need more of a DIY approach (especially when they're first getting started).  If the words accounting and bookkeeping leave you with question marks over your head, YOU are my ideal client!

With years of experience in government/non-profit, private sector, and public accounting; Lis Lee Accounting launched in 2017 to help small business owners and entrepreneurs with strategies for financial system design and implementation, revenue and expense tracking, record-keeping, compliance, and cash flow management. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and have worked in various accounting and finance positions at places like Deloitte, International Justice Mission, and U.S. Department of State.

Lis Lee Accounting is based in Raleigh, North Carolina, but I also work with clients across the United States.
