Marianne explains the significance of government contracts and grants for women-owned businesses. She highlights the opportunities and advantages of obtaining certifications as a woman-owned business, minority-owned business, or small business. The conversation encourages women to pursue government contracts and leverage certifications to stand out in business.

Before Boules Consulting, Marianne was a public servant with local nonprofit organizations. During her tenure, she noticed that smaller nonprofits did excellent work integral to the community’s well-being and could benefit from an extra set of hands. However, these nonprofits operated on razor-thin budgets and needed more staffing. Marianne is Nonprofit Management Certified (NPM) and Grant Writing Certified (GWC) and holds her Master’s in Public Policy from the University of California, Riverside.
